Cochlear UK offers two prestigious scholarships in honour of its pioneers – Professor Graeme Clark and Dr. Anders Tjellström. The Cochlear Graeme Clark Scholarship for Nucleus® Cochlear Implant recipients and the Anders Tjellström Scholarship for Baha® System Implant recipients.
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to the Cochlear ideals of leadership and humanity. (One prize winner per scholarship).
The scholarship awards provide students a grant for tuition, either for students currently completing their final year of school and who have been accepted onto a university/tertiary education course, mature-aged students who have been accepted onto a university/tertiary education course, or students currently undertaking a university degree or other tertiary education.
Cochlear is proud to support academic excellence and takes pride in opening up the world of sound to our recipients and seeing how they use the capabilities of their cochlear implant or Baha to help attain major milestones on their journey to academic and personal success.
