If you think you can hear music in your ears this July, it may be coming from Poland.
Beats of Cochlea is a five-day, international music festival for people with hearing disorders. It was initiated in 2015 by Professor Henryk Skarżyński of the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing in Warsaw, Poland and has become an annual event and a highlight in the cultural calendar of Poland. This year as part of the festival, professional musicians will offer participants vocal and instrumental master classes and the event will culminate with the traditional Gala Concert, to showcase performances by festival attendees as well as guest professionals.
Cochlear offers support to Cochlear Family members attending Beats of Cochlea. If you are registered to go, let your local Cochlear service team know. We can help you with the logistics of your trip, making sure you know where to go and what to do while you’re in Warsaw. We will also help you meet up with others in the Cochlear Family community to make the most of your adventure.
You can read about Beats of Cochlea 2016 in the Cochlear Family News archive – you’ll find it in the Autumn 2016 issue. The whole archive can be accessed through the menu at the bottom of the Cochlear Family News homepage.
