At the end of a busy day helping you hear, your sound processor appreciates a little love and attention to make sure it will be on top form for you tomorrow.
After eight hours tucked up in bed, you’ll feel fresh and ready to go in the morning. Eight hours every night in the Dry and Store will do the same for your sound processor. If you have a behind-the-ear sound processor, remove the battery first and place both the battery and sound processor (with its cable and coil) into the box. If you wear off-the-ear Kanso®, you just need to turn Kanso off before putting it into the Dry and Store.
You probably jump into the shower every day to make sure you stay healthy and clean. Your sound processor needs to be wiped down with a soft cleaning cloth. If you’ve been in a dusty environment, use the soft brush in your daily care kit to carefully clean grit or dust out of any indents.
Tip: Watch our handy videos if you’re unsure about how to clean your sound processor.
OK, we made this part up. Keep the cookies and warm milk for yourself. Your sound processor would prefer you just to check its cables and microphone covers are in good condition and that you have plenty of batteries on charge for tomorrow.
Tip: Sprinkle a little nutmeg or cinnamon on your bedtime drink to improve your sleep.
