…about SCAN 2 ForwardFocus

Let's talk intelligent automation!

A clinical study has shown significant improvement1 in speech understanding in noise, when using ForwardFocus* with the Nucleus® 8 or Kanso® 3 Sound Processor.2

ForwardFocus significantly reduces noise coming from behind, helping you to better understand face-to-face conversations in noisy places like restaurants and social gatherings.

More freedom to choose

With Nucleus 8 and Kanso 3 sound processors, you have the option to activate ForwardFocus via the Nucleus Smart App and you can also use the new automated ForwardFocus program: SCAN 2 FF.

With SCAN 2 FF, your sound processor intelligently adapts and adjusts ForwardFocus strength, based on your sound environment. This reduces your listening effort and improves speech understanding in complex sound environments.3 It’s a smarter, simpler way to stay connected.

Recommended by recipients

In a recent survey4, 2 out of 3 recipients who have upgraded from Nucleus 7 to Nucleus 8 sound processors reported that they now hear better in noisy environments. Additionally, 95% of participants in the survey said that SCAN 2 FF was ‘easy’ or ‘very easy’ to use.

Effortlessly dynamic

Everyday environments can be unpredictable and frequently changing. Making the switch to Nucleus 8 or Kanso 3 sound processor and choosing the SCAN 2 FF program streamlines your listening experience, wherever life takes you.
