Cochlear Family News
It’s hard to believe we are halfway through the year already.
We know that many of you will be looking forward to a break from work or school routines and perhaps time away from home. This issue includes helpful tips for travel and taking care of your device if your travels take you somewhere hot and humid, into the water, or out into nature. There is also excellent advice if you will be going through airport security – being prepared will hopefully make it a stress-free part of your journey.
Talking of travel, you’ll be inspired by Kian who moved with his family to the other side of the world, to a new school, in a new country, with a new language. And another inspiring young person highlighted in this issue is Rose – one comment she heard in her modelling career led her down a whole new path.
As always, we included several articles about upgrading your device. We are bowled over by what recipients say about enjoying their updated technology and we are excited to share it with you. Check out the research-based reasons for upgrading, including the benefits of the Cochlear™ Nucleus® Smart App that Lewis says he would hate to live without.
