Did you hear? Cochlear has been named the World’s No 1 Most Trustworthy Healthcare Company by Newsweek in its 2024 global rankings. This recognition highlights our commitment to our customers.
What is the award?
This award by Newsweek is based on feedback from participants who evaluated companies around the world based on trust from customers, investors and employees. Awarded annually, it recognises companies for producing quality products, paying employees fair wages and appointing effective leaders.
How is the ranking conducted?
The ranking is based on an independent survey of more than 70,000 participants and 230,000 evaluations from customers, investors and employees related to 23 industries across 20 countries. It covers a wide range of industries from financial services and media to dining and consumer goods.
Why is this recognition important?
Trust is on the decline across various industries globally, with concerns about data privacy, and the use of AI among other important issues in the fast-paced global economy. With these growing concerns, trust is more valuable than ever.
Why does this matter to you?
We’re excited about this type of recognition but, more importantly, what it means for you. We hope this global recognition helps you to feel confident that we are always here for you throughout your hearing journey.
“At Cochlear, our recipients are at the heart of everything we do,” says Cochlear CEO, Dig Howitt. “We offer comprehensive services to support you, including rehabilitation programs through our connected care program, partnerships with audiologists, and access to a global community of Cochlear recipients.”
It’s also a powerful reminder to us that our focus on improving lives, delivering excellent service, and building a strong community is making a real difference.
