Finding lost treasure

With the Nucleus® Smart App, you can find a lost Nucleus® 7 Sound Processor.

Do you ever misplace your sound processor? No, of course you don’t. You wouldn’t do a foolish thing like that!  But, you know what? There are always days that don’t go according to your normal routine. And, in the chaos, you might forget where you left your sound processor. Did you know you could use the Nucleus Smart App to find your Nucleus 7?

Using Find My Processor

The Nucleus Smart App uses GPS technology to tell you the last location the sound processor had contact with your compatible smartphone.

  1. Make sure you have location services enabled and the Nucleus Smart App running in the background.
  2. If your processor is out of range, and connection with the mobile device is lost, Find My Processor drops a pin on the map where the processor last had connection/communication.
  3. At this point, it’s up to you to go and collect it.

Remember! You shouldn’t turn off location services on your mobile device if you want to use the Find My Processor function.  If you have turned location services off for some reason, you can go right back into iOS Settings or Android Settings to turn the function back on.
