Cochlear UK and Ireland offer two prestigious scholarships in honour of its pioneers

Cochlear is proud to support the academic excellence of our recipients through two scholarships for tertiary education in honour of its pioneers :

  • The Graeme Clark Scholarship for Cochlear™ Nucleus® implant recipients
  • The Anders Tjellström Scholarship for Cochlear™ Baha® implant recipients.

These scholarships are open to anyone with a Cochlear or Baha hearing device in the UK and Ireland aged 16+ undertaking tertiary education, including apprenticeships. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to the Cochlear ideals of leadership and humanity.

Cochlear takes enormous pride in opening up the world of sound to young people and seeing how they use the capabilities of their hearing implant to attain major milestones on their journey to academic and personal success.

Congratulations to Clara O’Shea, the winner of the 2018/2019 Graeme Clark Scholarship and Anna Exall, the winner of the 2018/2019 Anders Tjellström Scholarship. We wish you all the very best in your studies and beyond!
