Cochlear recipient Malala Yousafzai’s ability to view nothing as a weakness is exceptional. She is known globally as an advocate for the education and empowerment of girls and Cochlear was delighted to meet her in Sydney, Australia last December, when she inspired a group of young Cochlear implant recipients to face adversity with courage and to build the path to their own future.
When the World Health Organisation turns a global spotlight onto hearing, Cochlear thinks that’s something to celebrate. And celebrate is exactly what Cochlear Family did – with more than 1,000 members in nine cities across Europe and the Middle East.
