Cochlear Family News
It’s been an exciting few months, as Cochlear’s year of 40th anniversary celebrations are now well underway. There’s so much to celebrate!
Could we possibly have imagined 40 years ago a device as small and powerful as the new Cochlear™ Baha® 6 Max Sound Processor? We’d love to go back through a ‘wormhole’ in time and tell people with hearing loss what to expect from Cochlear in 2021. But, honestly? We’re not sure they’d believe us! Based on 40 years of experience and research, the Baha 6 Max sound processor is a direct response to the needs of Baha recipients. It really is small, powerful and inspired by you.
Although it’s easy to get excited about new technology, more than anything else, we love to celebrate YOU. In this issue, there is a wealth of stories that highlight how your courage and perseverance to live a full life is inspiring us and others every day.
We are also celebrating publication of the World Health Organization’s first dedicated World Report on Hearing. The report has generated publicity around the world, with major celebrities getting behind the World Health Organization’s message: Hearing care for all – screen, rehabilitate, communicate.
